General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Effective as of October 16, 2026
These terms govern all sales concluded on halume.fr. They are written to be read, not to be endured: pricing, payment, delivery, withdrawal, guarantees, everything is here.
What you need to know. Free delivery in mainland France on orders from €35, 30 days to change your mind instead of the legal 14 days, a 2-year legal guarantee, and a free consumer mediator if we cannot reach an agreement.
1Purpose and scope
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter "GTCS") govern all product sales concluded on the halume.fr website between Halume (hereinafter "the Seller") and any non-merchant individual making a purchase (hereinafter "the Customer").
Any order placed on the site implies full and unreserved acceptance of these GTCS. The Customer declares having read them before validating their order.
The Seller reserves the right to modify these GTCS at any time. The applicable GTCS are those in force on the date the order is validated.

The products offered for sale are night lights and ambient lamps as described on the product pages of the site.
The photographs and illustrations accompanying the products have no contractual value. Slight variations in color or appearance may exist between the displayed image and the delivered product.
Offers are valid within the limits of available stocks. In the event of unavailability after placing an order, the Customer will be informed as soon as possible and may obtain a full refund of the sums paid.
4Pricing
Prices are indicated in euros (€), inclusive of all taxes, excluding any delivery costs specified before the validation of the order.
In accordance with article 293 B of the General Tax Code, the Seller benefits from the VAT base franchise: no VAT is charged or recoverable on orders.
The Seller reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Products are invoiced on the basis of the rates in force at the time of the order registration.
5Ordering
The Customer selects the desired products, checks their cart, enters their details, chooses their payment method, and then validates their order.
Order validation constitutes the conclusion of the sales contract. A confirmation email summarizing the order is sent to the Customer.
The Seller reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a Customer with whom there is a dispute regarding the payment of a previous order, or which appears to be clearly fraudulent.
6Payment
Payment is made online at the time of the order. Accepted payment methods are displayed in the footer and reiterated at the time of order validation: bank cards, electronic wallets, and local payment solutions depending on your country.
Transactions are secure. The Seller never has access to the Customer's banking data, as this is processed directly by the payment service providers.
The order is only processed after effective receipt of payment.

| European Union | €4.90 for standard delivery | 10 to 15 business days |
An express delivery option may be offered depending on the destination. Its rate and timeframe are displayed during order validation, before payment.
Delivery times run from the validation of payment and are indicative. In the event of a delay exceeding thirty (30) days from the conclusion of the contract, the Customer may terminate the contract under the conditions of article L216-6 of the Consumer Code and obtain a full refund of the sums paid.
Upon shipment, a tracking number is sent to the Customer by email. It is the Customer's responsibility to check the condition of the package upon delivery and to report any damage or missing items to the carrier as well as to the Seller as soon as possible.
Detailed procedures can be found on the Delivery and Returns page.
8Right of withdrawal
In accordance with articles L221-18 and following of the Consumer Code, the Customer has a legal period of fourteen (14) days to exercise their right of withdrawal.
Halume voluntarily extends this period to thirty (30) calendar days from receipt of the product, without having to justify the decision or incur any penalty.
To exercise this right, the Customer must inform the Seller by email at contact@halume.fr, specifying their order number.
The product must be returned in its original, unused condition, with all its accessories. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer in the event of a simple change of mind. They are covered by the Seller if the product is defective, damaged during delivery, or if an error is attributable to the Seller.
9Refund
Refunds are processed within a maximum of fourteen (14) days from receipt of the returned product or proof of its shipment, using the same payment method as used for the order.
Given the return times and costs of certain items, the Seller may offer the Customer a refund or a replacement without requiring the physical return of the product. This option is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Full procedures are available in our Return and Refund Policy.
10Legal guarantees
Independently of any commercial guarantee, the Seller remains bound by the following legal guarantees:
- Legal guarantee of conformity (articles L217-3 and following of the Consumer Code): the Customer has two (2) years from the delivery of the goods to act. They may choose between repair or replacement of the product, subject to the cost conditions provided by law. The Customer is exempt from proving the lack of conformity during the twenty-four (24) months following delivery.
- Guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 and following of the Civil Code): the Customer may choose between the rescission of the sale or a price reduction, within a period of two (2) years from the discovery of the defect.
To implement these guarantees, the Customer contacts the Seller at contact@halume.fr.
11Liability
The products sold are intended for normal domestic use. The Seller cannot be held liable for damages resulting from use not in accordance with the provided instructions, product modification, or misuse.
As night lights are electrical devices, it is recommended to keep cables out of reach of young children and not to use them near a source of water.
12Personal data
Collected data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
13Intellectual property
All elements of the halume.fr site (texts, visuals, logo, graphic charter) are protected by intellectual property law. Any total or partial reproduction or representation without prior written authorization is prohibited. The terms of use of the site are available in our General Terms and Conditions of Use.
14Consumer mediation
In accordance with article L612-1 of the Consumer Code, the Customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge for the amicable resolution of a dispute, after having attempted to resolve it directly with the Seller through a written complaint.
